Q1 RAJARs: talkSPORT Premier League coverage increases audience by 28%

Figures released today by radio audience measurement body, , show that attracted 3.2 million weekly listeners in Q1 2014 – a year-on-year increase of 10%.

The station’s flagship show, The Show achieved its highest ever number of listeners, with 1.5 million tuning in every week to hear Alan alongside some of the biggest names in sport. That’s a 15% increase year-on-year. , presented by and , achieved record listening figures on Sundays.

Elsewhere, Drive (presented by and ) achieved 1.3 million listeners – a 10% increase on Q4 2013, and a 20% increase on the Q1 2013. ’s show saw listener growth of 5% quarter-on-quarter, and 8% year-on-year.  saw a 3% increase on Q4 2013 and a 9% increase on Q1 2013. , which includes live weekday football, saw an 8% increase year-on-year.

Record numbers of listeners continue to be drawn to the station’s live football, with exclusive Barclays Premier League commentary on Sunday afternoons achieving its highest ever reach, with a 28% increase on the previous year.
